Sindie Pop - Disney Princesses Collection

Hello Everyone!! Happy Friday! :-) And it is a long weekend over here because we have Monday off for Labor Day!! WOO HOO!! I'm also SO excited because Monday will be my one year anniversary of marriage with my dear hubby, Mr. CC!!!!! Would you guys like me to sneak in some wedding pictures in with Monday's post?  I would love to share a glimpse of that special day with you all!

I'm also excited because today I have a new to me Indie Brand to show you called Sindie POP!  Jessica, the owner, is a sweetheart!  We have e-mailed back and forth and she was kind enough to give me a little background on herself, as well as some details and descriptions on the colors she created.  I love learning more about colors and their names!  I think this collection is adorable and I hope you enjoy all the pictures.

Here is a little bit of information Jessica wanted to share with you!!
My name's Jessica and I want to put a little POP in your life. I created Sindie POP Lacquer because I'm the kind of person who values individuality. I also happened to be addicted to nail polish. When I discovered indie nail polishes I was quickly intrigued. The idea of having a nail polish that was custom made was amazing to me. I've always had a creative mind that needed outlets so I figured why not give it a try. So during my summer vacation from college I bit the bullet and invested all of the money I had saved up into this little adventure. I like to think of it more as an adventure than a business because making these nail polishes is the closest thing I have to fun in my life haha. This experience was originally going to be just a summer venture but I've enjoyed the whole experience so much that I can definitely see myself doing this for a long time to come. I love making the polishes knowing that every single one is a unique experience for every person using it. I will always try my best to make sure that you are left with nothing less than a smile on your face. I put 100% into everything from the creation process to the packaging process. I appreciate all kinds of feedback because there is always room for improvement. I hope you enjoy all of my products as much as I enjoy making them for you.
You can purchase these beauties at http://sindiepoplacquer.ecrater.com/.  Full sizes are $8 and minis are $4.

Ring My Belle Nail Lacquer *15ml*
Inspired by Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Ring My Belle is a sheer pale yellow nail polish with a hint of shimmer and small and large gold hex glitters. It can be worn alone with nice coverage in 1-2 coats, or it can also be added over nail polishes in the same color family for added beauty.

For this mani, I used 2 coats plus Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  I love how the gold shimmered and the glitters reflected!  I have been looking for a gold polish like this and have a few layering ideas that I will be sharing with you soon!

Kiss My...Toad! Nail Lacquer *15ml*
Inspired by Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. Kiss My...Toad! is a sheer medium yellow green nail polish with a hint of shimmer. It's filled with medium sized light green hex glitter and small silver glitter. It can be worn alone with nice coverage in 2-3 coats, or it can also be added over nail polishes in the same color family for added beauty.

I used 2 coats with Wicked Fast top coat.  This is another one I want to try layering with too!  I thought this and Ring My Belle were both going to be too sheer to wear alone, but they really surprised me!  In a great way, of course.

Kiss Of Life Nail Lacquer *15ml*
Inspired by Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. Kiss Of Life is a sheer magenta pink nail polish with a hint of shimmer. It's filled with medium sized red, green, and turquoise hex glitter. It can be worn alone with nice coverage in 1-2 coats, or it can also be added over nail polishes in the same color family for added beauty.

When I originally saw this in the bottle, I wasn't sure that I'd like it.  Then on the nail, I fell instantly in love.  I used 2 coats with Wicked Fast top coat.  To me this is almost a peachy pink color depending on the light, which I just love on my skintone!  The gold glitter through it is subtle and the little pops of green, blue, and red really add to this to make it very unique!  I can maybe layer this one too, but I do love it just by itself.  And Sleeping Beauty has always been my nickname, lol!! I seriously could sleep 24 hours and still be tired... Everyone said I'd grow out of it, but my favorite part about the weekend is to be able to SLEEP IN! ;-) hehe

Mermaid To Love Him Nail Lacquer *15ml*
Inspired by Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Mermaid To Love Him is an explosion of glitter in a clear base. It's filled with medium sized red, green, light green, purple, and turquoise hex glitter. It can be worn alone with nice coverage in 2 coats, or it can be layered over a black for added beauty (which I recommend). This polish can pretty much be worn over any color and will look beautiful.

I wanted to show you this polish alone.  I actually didn't even use a top coat with this one.  This is 1 coat.  I like how much coverage you get with just one coat and I had to show you guys that.  I have plans to layer this, but first wanted to just show the beauty of the glitter alone.  Mr. CC wants to see this over black and matted, so I will have to try that for him :-)  I also might do some quick skittles so you can see how it looks over multiple colors.  I really love how the glitters reflect in this one!  The colors look great together.  I am also a big fan of The Little Mermaid because it was my first movie to see in theaters!  I don't remember, being only 3 years old, but my Mom tells me that all the time.  And growing up I always did love mermaids!!  One of my birthdays my Mom made me an Ariel cake (she is an artist and is does amazing work!!).  These movies are the classics!! :-)  (but the new cartoons do have a place in my heart too!)

I hope you enjoyed this look at Sindie POP!  I am thrilled to be able to show you guys this collection!  Make sure you check out http://sindiepoplacquer.ecrater.com/ for purchasing!  You can also check out Jessica's Instagram, RandomJazzica, where she previews colors!!

I hope you all have a great weekend!!!  And if yours is a long one too, relax and sleep in like I am!! hehe!  Can you believe today is the last day of August!??  Where did you go Summer!?

Much Love,
Crystal

Imperial Nail Lacquer - Toothpaste

Hello!  Can you believe August is almost over!?  I know time flies, but this summer has gone SO fast!!!  Today I have another polish from Imperial Nail Lacquer!  I think this one is so cute because the name is perfect!  It does remind me of my toothpaste!

You can check out Imperial Nail Lacquer on Etsy. You can find Toothpaste  listed for $5 for a mini, or you can request a full size for $9.

I used 3 coats for this mani (no top coat).  It is very sheer and you can see a few spots where I didn't apply it that well because I was messing with the glitters.  I kept the bottle upside down for a few minutes before painting to make sure those gorgeous white square glitters would mix around.  I used a dabbing method to get them onto the nail.  I like how this looks, but if you prefer less sheer, layering over a light blue would give you opaqueness.

I love the light blue jelly base!  I don't think I have any bases like that!  And the white squares mixed through give it that fun extra!  I use Colgate Max Fresh with breath strips for my toothpaste :-)  It is a brighter blue, so maybe I will layer this over a darker blue and it will look just like my toothpaste!!! hehe

I hope you enjoyed this look at another Imperial Nail Lacquer!! Make sure to check this out on Etsy - Toothpaste.

Hope you have a great day!

Much Love,
Crystal

Wonder Beauty Products - Hippie Fest & Patina

Hello!! Today I have 2 gorgeous Wonder Beauty Products polishes!!  If you love shards and glitter, this post is for you!! :-)  If you don't, I think you should still take a look and give them a try because they are SO cool!!!
Jen, the owner, has a shop on Etsy, Wonder Beauty Products. Polishes range from $10-12, and are sold in palettes (jars) or bottles. Head over to her Blog and Facebook, where you can see upcoming colors and get updates from her! She also sometimes does giveaways and has one going on right now!!  ENTER HERE by September 7 at 11:59 PM PDT!
First up we have Hippie Fest.  You can find the jar of it, HERE for $12 or the bottle, HERE for $10.  Her pictures show it differently that what my bottle looks like, but I do love how it the blue and light blues together with the silver!!  I think the Jar may be what is displayed in her pictures, but the bottles are what I am showing you today.  Either way, both options are stunning!  I plan to play around with this to find some other layering combinations.  For this mani, I used 1 coat of Color Club What a Drag with 1 coat of Hippie Fest and topped with Seche Vite.  Unfortunately, this base somewhat hides the beauty of the silver glitter in Hippie Fest, so next time I'll try a darker color and probably a creme.  Even still, I do love how the blues stand out against the silver foil!
For my next combo, I used a base of OPI Stranger Tides.  Boy do I love this creme.  This is actually 3 coats topped with Seche Vite.  I wore it all day with 2 coats which is opaque, but added a third to sort of "clean it up" for pictures.  I apply this with a light hand and pretty well covered brush because it does cause a bit of streaking that sort of evens out without a lot of extra stroking on the nail.  Any bit of work to get this on is worth it, this is such a pretty neutral color!  Plus to me it is quite unique, which is why I like it!
I really wish I would have done a tape mani!  I was afraid that a tape mani wouldn't get enough shredded goodness over the nails, lol.  So I chickened out and just layered 1 coat of Patina over Stranger Tides and topped with Seche Vite.  Next time I will try a tape mani!
Patina is coming out soon from Wonder Beauty Products on Etsy.  I believe it will be a Fall release, as it is absolutely perfect for Fall!!!  It has a brownish base, as you can see it slightly changed the hue of the Stranger Tides.  I love the orange and teals together!  This polish is so beautiful!  There are shards, hexagons, and mircoglitter mixed through!  As you will see in some pictures, the smaller glitters almost remind me of sands glistening!
The shade really shows the microglitter off!! I am pleased at how this combination turned out!

I hope you enjoyed this look at two beauties from Wonder Beauty Products!! I just LOVE the shards and how they reflect the light!  I have plans for these two to try other layering combinations!  Stay tuned for a future post!
Hope you have a great day!
Much Love,
Crystal
