Harvest Time Giveaway!! CLOSED

Hello Y'all!!  Sorry for the delay, my cold took over today and kept me in bed most of the day! Yuck!  But I made myself get up and try my idea so I could post this.  You'll have to forgive the pictures, as they're done with artificial lighting.  And my nail art isn't the best, but hopefully you get the idea I was going with here...LOL!!

I started with 2 coats of Deborah Lippmann Almost Paradise and topped with Seche Vite.  Then I took my little brush and did a circle with China Glaze Harvest Moon.  I placed some China Glaze Agro on the back of some bubble wrap and let it sit for a minute so it wasn't as liquid-y.  Then took my brush and tried to the the vines and added lines to the pumpkins.  I finished with a coat of Seche Vite.

I had doubles of these colors and they've been sitting on my desk for a while.  The other day I was looking at them and decided, "why not use these for a mini giveaway!?"  I hope you guys like them! Make sure you enter the Rafflecopter below!

Thank you guys for all your love!  This is just a small way for me to express how much I appreciate your kind words and continuous support!  This giveaway is open to everyone and all I request is that you either follow my blog via GFC or e-mail.  Thank you again!  Good Luck and Happy Harvest Time!

Frankenstine Polish - May The Schwartz Be With You

Happy Happy Friday!!  If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, I mentioned a giveaway!  Depending on the weather later tonight, I will try to do my nail art idea and post pics with the giveaway items!  Otherwise I will have it up on Saturday some time!  This is just a thank you for all of the love, support, and kindness!  I really appreciate everything and am beyond flattered by all the positive feedback I receive!!

Today I have another Frankenstine Polish to show you!! This is called May The Schwartz Be With You based on the movie Spaceballs.  This is a parody that makes fun of Star Wars and other movies.  It has been SO long since I've seen it, but I think it's available OnDemand, so maybe I will watch it this weekend! lol

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaceballs
Here is a quick clip from the movie!

I started with 2 coats of Orly Au Champagne, which is one of my favorite whites/off whites.  It has a satin finish to it.

Next I applied 1 coat of May The Schwartz Be With You with no top coat.  The base is thick, so I didn't use a top coat for photos.  To keep the glitter looking great, I do recommend a top coat though!

I am in love with this combo! And I can't even take credit for it, because it was Mr. CC's idea! lol  I was going to do a gold base, but he said to just do white!  It stands out SO much better over Au Champagne!  Way to go Mr. CC!!

May The Schwartz Be With You is gold and black hexagons of medium and small sizes, with smaller holographic hexagons!  The holographic glitters weren't able to be picked up on as much through the photos, but in person they are beautiful!

You can order this beauty by e-mailing Christine, the owner, at Frankenstinepolishes@earthlink.net.  For more swatches and information, you can check out her Facebook page and she is also on Instagram as @christineambrosia.  She has some beautiful polishes!! You can see my previous post of I Invented Post Its!

I love this photo to show the gorgeous holographic pieces of glitter that sparkle!  It is so much better in person though!

Yum!

I hope you loved this combo as much as I did!! Also, did you guys notice that time is flying, because it's almost October!!  Oh and don't forget to check back for my giveaway!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Much Love,
Crystal

QT Nails - Yo witch!

Hello Everyone!!!  I have another QT Nails polish to show you!  This is a new one for Halloween!!  It is called Yo witch! and is a metallic green with blue, purple, and pink glitters throughout.  I used 3 coats for the pictures.  I didn't use a top coat.  I have had metallics give me a bit of trouble if I try to paint a top coat too soon.  They loose their brush strokes, but then look almost smudged.  I recommend waiting to do a top coat for metallics!  I didn't have time though, as the sun was about to set and I wanted some pictures! ;-)

You can find Yo witch! on Etsy at QT Nails shop for $8.50. You can also follow QT Nails Facebook to get information on colors and updates! Newsha, the owner, has so many gorgeous polishes available at her shop! I recommend checking them all out!!

You can also find more information on QT Nails on Instagram at @Newieee - including swatches of colors available!

I love these shaded pictures to see that amazing glitter against this green!!!

And of course a nice close up to see what's going on here!  This picture makes the glitter look all different colors!  The glitters do sparkle so beautifully!  It applies extremely well.  I did 3 coats because I wanted a nice full coverage, but it wasn't bad at 2!  And I also think it's sheer enough to layer this as well!

I hope you enjoyed this look at another QT Nails polish!  Have a great day!

Much Love,
Crystal

XOXO Nails - Coffee Date

Hi Everyone!!  Today I have a gorgeous polish to show you!!  This is Coffee Date by XOXO Nails.  Elektra, the owner, is such a sweetheart!  We met through Instagram and it has been awesome to see her grow!  She had some amazing combinations of polish that she has created!  She also is great at manicures too!  Love her nail art!  Make sure you check her out on Instagram - @xoxo_nails.  She is also on Facebook and Twitter - @xoxo_nails.  Her shop on Etsy, XOXO Nails, has full size bottles for $9.00, but she does have a few sets at discounted prices!  Here is Coffee Date!

Coffee date is a light nude/beige color that is sheer and creamy.  There are brown glitter hexagons, medium and very tiny, that reflect bronze color!  I love the way this polish looks!  I used 3 coats for the pictures, no top coat.

I love her labeling on her bottles too!  And the bottles themselves!  They are so unique!  These are the first I've ever had like this and I like change in shape!

Here is a bottle shot so you can see what I'm talking about for the glitters reflecting!

Oh! And here is the cute packaging!! I LOVE it!!  If you go to Elektra's shop, http://www.etsy.com/shop/XOXONAILS, you will see here theme of the zebra background there too!

I hope you enjoyed this look at XOXO Nails!  This was my first time trying this brand and I'm loving this color!! I have more beauties to review for you, so make sure to be on the look out for them!

Hope you have an awesome day!!

Much Love,

Frankenstine Polish - Creature From The Black Lagoon

Today I have a very special Frankenstine Polish to show you!  This is a very limited, hard to find color.  I am SO glad I was able to try this, as it is absolutely amazing!  It's almost like instant galaxy nails!!  At least that's what it reminds me of!  If you are lucky enough to have a chance to snag this beauty, I would highly recommend it!  I think it will look great layered over lots of colors!

I chose to layer this over Cult Nails Awakening.  This is two coats.  EEK! I just went to http://www.cultnails.com/ and just found that Awakening is retired.  So if you have it, you are lucky to have this beauty too!  Sorry if you don't :-(

I then took 1 coat of Creature From The Black Lagoon with 1 coat of Seche Vite.  Oh my, do I love this glitter!! It has so much mixed it!! I see white, black, green, blue, gold, and bar glitters in a teal jelly base.  Most of the glitters are iridescent too, sparkling in the light.

Normally you can order by e-mailing Christine, the owner, at Frankenstinepolishes@earthlink.net.  However, since this is limited, I'm not sure if she will have these available.  You can check out her Facebook page for swatches of other colors! She is also on Instagram as @christineambrosia and has swatches there as well!! She has some beautiful polishes!!  You can see my previous post of I Invented Post Its and I will have another one on Friday!  Again, I apologize that this is HTF, but maybe you will get lucky like I did!

These pictures show some of that amazing glitter!  It reflects beautifully and looks so bright in the shade!  Like it is glowing!!

I hope you enjoyed this look at another Frankenstine Polish!!  Have a great day!!

Much Love,
Crystal

QT Nails - Fuchsia Garden

Hello Everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! The wedding was beautiful on Saturday! SO happy for our friends, Mikey & Jamie!  Jamie made a stunning bride!!

Today I have a gorgeous color to show you from QT Nails!! This is Fuchsia Garden!  This is my first time using this brand, and I have to say I'm very impressed!  I used 2 coats plus Seche Vite top coat.  It applied extremely well and I love the base color!  It reminds me a lot of China Glaze Four Leaf Clover.   I noticed indoors the color looked more green, but outdoors it was giving off more of a teal color!  I love when polishes sort of "change" like that depending on the lighting!  Hopefully you'll notice that in the pictures, of how just the slight change of light gives it a different look. My favorite part is the fuchsia glitters in this that give such a beautiful contrast!

You can find Fuchsia Garden on Etsy at QT Nails shop for $8.50.  You can also follow  QT Nails Facebook to get information on colors and updates!  Newsha, the owner, is so sweet!  She is also very creative so make sure to check out her other colors!!

I think the picture below is my favorite!  You can see  how the fuchsia glitters reflect and the base looks so good here!

Here is Coda!  He wanted to say hi!  He always watches me take pictures!! :-D

Here is a picture from indoors.  It actually looked even more green than this in some lights!! So pretty!

I hope you enjoyed this look at QT Nails!  I have 2 more to show you soon!  If they are anything like this, I'm sure I will love them too! ;-) Make sure you check out  QT Nails shop and her Facebook!

Hope you all have a great day!!

Much Love,
Crystal
