WingDust - Swatch-A-Thon!

Hello Everyone!!  It's been a little bit!  Hope everyone is doing great!!  I'm so thankful we've been having warmer weather.  Although, I heard it's supposed to drop again (Mother Nature, figure it out already!! hehe).  So things are still crazy.  I apologize to you, my lovely readers, as well as to all the amazing brands I am working with swatching for review.  Your patience means so much to me right now.  I had been hoping a weekend away camping would help some of my stress, but Monday was still Monday at work! haha

In all seriousness though, I had a nice week away working on a few other things and the weekend was so much fun!  I missed you lovelies though ;-)  I am going to try my best to get back on track and have lots of swatches for you!!  I did break a few nails while camping though! Oops! ;-)  I'm sure you'll notice once I get to those posts!!

Today, we have the amazing WingDust on the blog!!  Her creations are SO beautiful.  I cannot wait to show you these!  You can purchase WingDustCollections HERE on Etsy or HERE on Llarowe. You can stay up to date with WingDustCollections on Facebook and Instagram - @wingdust for new shades, coupon codes, and reviews. She has amazing creations to choose from, so please make sure to check them out!

Also, Stephanie, the owner, posted an update on her blog - HERE - about moving.  So I suggest if you have your eye on a color, snag it now before she takes a mini break!!  I wish her lots of luck and hope that everything goes smoothly over the next few months!

So let's get started with Spring Has Sprung.

For Spring Has Sprung, I used 2 coats along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

What a gorgeous shade!!!  I love this Spring-like green with the little purple, gold, blue, and green glitters!  It just shimmers in the light so beautifully!

Close up!

Next up, Moonlight Sonata!

For Moonlight Sonata, I used 3 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.

I probably could have gotten away with 2 coats or layered it over black, but with black jellies with glitter, I love love love to layer to get that squishy look!  And these teal, blue, and silver glitters look so awesome in the black jelly!  I even see some purple glitters that shine holographically!

Close up!

Next, Lilacs in June.

For Lilacs in June, I used 2 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.

What a gorgeous light purple/pink with purple, silver, and green glitters.  Stephanie's combos always make me drool!!  I just love this!

Close up!  Love that subtle shimmer in the base!!

Next, Space Cadet.

For Space Cadet, I used 2 coats along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Another gorgeous shade of black with holographic glitters and the tiny dust of scattered linear holo too!  My camera wouldn't capture it, but it's so beautiful!  I love how it looks speckled!

Close up!  You can see the tiny flecks of silver that would be holo in the sun!

Next, I Am Yours & You Are Mine.

For I Am Yours & You Are Mine, I used 2 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.

What a cute name!  And beautiful red/fuchsia color.  The bottle looks more red, but since it has a jelly base, it would take maybe another coat or two to be darker.  I actually loved it just like this!!  Again, this base has a scattered holo that my camera wouldn't catch.  I just love the pops of pink and gold through it!

Close up!  Pretend those little tiny flecks are showing holo please :-(  haha I'll be happy when the sun stays out for Summer ;-)

Last, but never least, Sleepless Summer Nights!  Is it me, or does Stephanie have some really cute names for these!!

For Sleepless Summer Nights, I used 2 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.

I cannot get over this one.  It is just so different!  I love the teal jelly base, and the brown with the green and gold!  The word "chunky" comes to mind, but in a totally fun way!  I see stars in here now that I'm looking closer at the bottle, but I didn't dig around for them :-(  Sorry!

Close up!! YUM.

I hope you liked this look at WingDust!  I have to say, I just love the labels that Stephanie uses!  Her bottles are so pretty, but the inside is just as beautiful!  Plus, I have to say that her formula is fantastic.  Overall, one of my favorite up and coming Indie Brands!!!

In case you missed above, you can purchase WingDust HERE on Etsy or HERE on Llarowe. You can stay up to date with WingDust on Facebook and Instagram - @wingdust for new shades, coupon codes, and reviews.

I hope you have a fantastic day!

Much Love,
Crystal

I highly recommend taking a look around, as Pretty & Polished always has awesome creations and an amazing formula!

First up, we have Liberty Bell Ruby.  Can you handle this? I think your ready, for all this jelly. hehe

For Liberty Bell Ruby, I used 2 coats along with Clearly on Top by KBShimmer.

Chelsea's description:  Magenta/red jelly with pink glitter is named after the famous Liberty Bell Ruby that was stolen during a large heist in 2011.

Close up!  Love how "juicy" this looks!!!

Next up, Heart of the Ocean.

For Heart of the Ocean, I used 3 coats with no top coat.  Isn't it glossy!??  I do recommend a top coat for prolonged wear though, for any manicure!

Chelsea's description:  Blue jelly with blue glitter is Heart of the Ocean. Named after the fictional blue diamond in the movie Titanic.

Close up!  What a perfect name!  This definitely reminds me of the Blue Diamond falling into the water!

The last of the trio, Tears of Dionysus.

For Tears of Dionysus, I used 3 coats along with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Chelsea's description:  Purple jelly with purple glitter, Tears of Dionysus, is named after an old Greek Story about Amethyst:  The legend of the origin of amethyst comes to us from Greek myth. Dionysius, the god of intoxication, was angered one day by an insult from a human and swore revenge on the next mortal that crossed his path. Violent tigers should carry out his wish. Amethyst, a beautiful young maiden on her way to pay tribute to the goddess Diana was to become the victim. Diana turned Amethyst into a stature of pure crystalline quartz to protect her from the brutal claws. Dionysus wept tears of wine in remorse for his action at the sight of the beautiful statue. The god's tears stained the quartz purple, creating the famous gem.

Close up!  My camera freaked out a bit by the purple!  But this is SO beautiful with the darker purple base and the peeks of shiny purple glitters!

All three of these are stunning.  I love the coordinating of glitters to the jelly bases.  And even the collection name of Gems n Gellies is perfect!  I always love a good story behind a polish and these three have it!  Plus, we need to wish Chelsea a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY month!  I believe her birthday is next week, so Chelsea, I hope you can enjoy your day!  We certainly enjoy these beauties you've created!! In case you missed above, you can purchase these two on Pretty & Polished on Etsy or Pretty & Polished on My Shopify. You can also find out more information, upcoming collection information, along with swatches on Pretty & Polished - Facebook, on Twitter @prettynpolish, on Instagram @prettyandpolishd and at http://www.prettynpolish.com/.

I hope you enjoyed all this jelly! :-)

Have a great day!!!
Much Love,
Crystal
